The First T-Shirt
The First T-Shirt (of many) has been sold.
  The Dawn of an Era
At the local NMW show on June 9th, the first Rob Schulz T-Shirt was sold. However without script on the back, the face of Rob Schulz was merit enough for one fan to make the purchase. We'll try our best to get a sit-down interview with him sometime in the near future.

As for all you other Rob Schulz fans, email if interested, T-Shirts are now in the works!!

Stratusfaction Guarenteed
I've never been so decisive about going to see a WWF Superstar than when I heard that Trish Stratus was going to be appearing at Bally's Total Fitness on Ridge Road. Boy am I glad I went.

It was decided the night before at 1:30am that we would go get in line for Trish at about 5:30-6am. This would be a good time to go since people arrived at the Mick Foley signing around midnight last time he was here.

With 2 hours of sleep and a bookbag full of things to keep me occupied (6 pack of Mountain Dew, 2 boxes of Cheez-Its, wrestling magazines, a gameboy, a notebook, and 10 issues of Aquaman), I made my way over to the Delaney residence to pick up Colin and Brian. They had Monopoly and 10 bucks. At about 5:15am we showed up at Wegman's to get some last minute things before the big day. After getting some Iced Animals and a 12 pack of Fountain W, the pilgrimage was once again in motion.

The car quieted down as we pulled into Greece Park Mall area (where Chuck E. Cheese's used to be) looking out for the horrific line we would have to endure. When we got there, there was no line. Not a single person. We saw one truck, and kept fearing someone would leap out of there and get in line to beat us. And, it never happened. At 5:30am were the very first people there.

So we sat in the car for a little while and heard "Lady Marmalade" a few times. Knowing that you can't keep your car on forever, we would have to get out at some time. We did a few "dry runs" to see how long it would take us to get out of the car, lock it up, and get in line, just in case someone else had the big idea that THEY could be first. I'm pretty sure it only took about 10 seconds.

We set up to play Monopoly, which took at least an hour to play. Still, no one had showed up. Occasionally a car would slow down near the entrance and we would panic, but no one ever turned; until about 7 o'clock...but they were parking at Marshall's. And another car would come, but they too, were for Marshall's.

Then we got out the Nerf football in my back seat and started to play with that. We designed a game where you can only use your left hand on offense, or defense, and the receiver could only use a shopping cart to catch the ball. It was pretty fun. I won 4-0. Long arms rule. Then I pegged the gigantic "B" on the front of Bally's. That was cool, too.

At about 8-9, 2 more kids showed up. At about 10, a few more people showed up, and then Lou, who had just purchased some Journey tickets for me, and Ed Delaney. He could have been Number 15 in line, but decided to go home instead.

As the line grew, and a stretch limo showed up, we became more impatient, and were later told that we would have to take a tour of the club in order to meet Trish. We agreed without haste, and were on our way. We left all of our things outside and prayed for the best. After what seemed like hours, our tour ended, and we exited our room to discover a huge line inside, and we were no where near the front!!

We attempted to complain that we got there at 5:30 and have been waiting for 7 hours already, only to receive the response "well, the line isn't THAT long." BUT WE WERE THERE FIRST! There were people who simply walked in, grabbed a wristband, and landed themselves a spot in line. I was furious. Thankfully, the guy was able to get us into the VIP line, so we would go BEFORE the other line, and I was FIRST!! We then weeded out everyone else who got there before the new people, and we had our original line, including the 2 kids who showed up after us, and the kid in the IV Horsemen shirt who appeared in the May Issue of WOW with Stephanie McMahon!
Eventually, Trish showed up around 1:15-1:30pm, and I go to be the very first person to go. I think that was the first time I got to go first for anything that counts, and it was a great experience. Trish was mega-nice and much nicer than other people I have met for autographs in the past, such as Kevin Nash, although he did allow me to give him the NWO Thing.

After exiting the stage, the Nerve Rock Babes engulfed me and made me sign up for more stuff. I couldn't help it! They control everything I do now. I am a robot (Conan thing). On my way out after the others had gotten their 8x10s auto'd, we had to go through the foyer. There were more attractive women, who I earlier said "Yeah hot chicks! Way to be Hot and Blonde!" to. I said "Oh no! Are you gonna make me sign up for more stuff?!" And they said "no, this one is on us." I took it and said "Alright!"

I recently looked at it, and it is a 10 dollars off Hooters gift certificate. Looks like I'll be going there soon. I wish I had looked at it then. Oh well.

So yeah, waiting for Trish was a great experience. I never did drink any of my pop or eat any of my Cheez-Its, or even play any gameboy. Just some old fashioned "sitting around for 8 hour" action. And after meeting Trish, I can definitely say that I was, and always will be, Stratusfied.
