IN THE NEWS!!!
RCW GOES TO MASSENA, NY!!!
Boy, Life on the Road is tough!
It seems like forever since I've been home.
But I'm back, and now its time to update this puppy!
The show in Massena was a success, well, depending on how you look at it.
All of the matches were great, and no one got seriously hurt.
The crowd, was, well lower than the initial expectations, but they were hotter than any fans I've wrestled in front of, which makes up for it, in my opinion. I wish there could have been more poeple there, and I think the other fans do to. But for the people that WERE there, I'd like to thank them for coming out and giving us a shot, and come and see us should we be back there sometime in the future.

This Summer
This summer was a blast!
The concert series was never this fun. This year, I (and the rest of the concert crew) saw Bad Company/Foreigner, Rush, and lately Journey w/ Special Guest The Outfield! The shows were really good. Lou claimed that the Rush show will NEVER be topped. They somehow achieved the pinnacle of all concerts in a lowly show at Darien Lakes, NY. And they didn't even play songs that everyone knew. And what about Freewill and the rest of the hits!? ARGH!! No 5 out of 5 for me. I can't talk about it; I'll get too mad.
The Journey concert was great. We all got Neil Schon guitar picks which read "NS was Here". There was this one hot chick with her friend that kept standing near us. Man, they were NIIIICE. They eventually went backstage for autographs or something..I can't imagine what else...ahem.
I felt bad for The Outfield. Everyone was told to stay seated for the show, and the guys kept trying to get everyone to stand up. Add that to the fact that no one knows any of their songs and you get a poor crowd for a band. I was trying my hardest to make them feel good about themselves, but I wouldn't be surprised if thats the last time we ever see them.. *sniffle*

Other stuff besides the concerts!
This summer is much different than last summer. Usually, at the Sutherlund Group, all the work goes really fast and you find yourself out of work, which stinks. This summer is just the opposite. All the projects are impossible (well, sometimes) and you're in work for the whole thing. I've just gotten my first time off this summer (just a few days) and my last week actually this week.
So in order to make the summer ultra hot, you need to strategically stick fun stuff to do in where you can. I, along with Ed, Sean, and Art (friends and wrestlers in RCW) got Darien Lake season passes. We haven't used them as much as we'd like to, but we've already gone more than standard money would allow us without the passes. Its all been fun though.
Another variable as of late has been my hair. Its true that I haven't gotten it cut since last August, my goatee hasn't been trimmed since November, and they're both REALLY hot (in the temperature aspect). I keep thinking about getting my hair cut, but everyone says "no way, you can't do it!" I don't know what to do, because I'm sure everyone I go to school with thinks I look like a scumbag, and all the girls are probably afraid to be seen with me. I don't know what to do though. Its so sad. Oh well, guess we'll see what happens. *sigh*
RCW has been the most fun for me as of late. Every show gets seemingly better and better. The crowds get hotter and the wrestling gets better. I know I've improved a whole bunch since my first RCW outing. And now I've got this awesome short tights with my name on em! For more information or updates on RCW, check out their site. Look for them in the LINKS section. Just in case you're wondering, thats HB2 strapping on the RCW Heavyweight Belt on yours truly!
I know I've left a TON of stuff out of this update. Things like Bills' camp, Brigade games (they made the playoffs!), my sweet Hawaiian shirts, my Dad's Surprise 50th Birthday Party, my sister's graduation, and so much more. I can usually think much better when I have a direct question applied to me. So if you have any questions, or would like to know more about anything Rob, PLEASE e-mail me. I love getting mail from people and "fans". In fact, I like any mail that isn't trying to get me to get a credit card or buy something. So send out that mail, kiddies, I'll be waiting!
Until then, keep both feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars!
